A Blog about Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality in the Enterprise
This blog is about reporting on, analyzing and promoting the adoption of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality technology in enterprise and governmental organizations. It is intended to be a resource for both enterprise customers and suppliers of the technology.
I’ve started this blog based on my own experience with developing and marketing an enterprise VR application, Vuzop. There are challenges, but the momentum is clear, and A/R and V/R will become massively used technologies in enterprises.
I swear that I will never report on someone’s prediction that A/R-V/R will be an “x billion dollar business by 20xx”. I’m old enough to know the uselessness of such predictions.
I will be doing some reporting on articles and other blog posts that I find interesting, but primarily I want to get direct information from participants in the industry through interviews. I am generally looking to two dimensions of information:
- Products, their market segments, and use cases of A/R and V/R
- The motivations and decision reasoning behind customers’ purchases and deployments
I will take a first shot at those in the next posts.
